Many hypnotherapists and hypnotists are understandably nervous these days about even talking about the potential of healing that might be possible with hypnosis as there has been such a "Spanish Inquisition" style attitude towards alternative or "unscientific" approaches to healing, especially of serious physical diseases and terminal illness. Giving people "false hope" is held to be a terrible thing - so what is the truth of the matter? Can hypnosis really make a difference in healing?
